The “Filly Frolic” scarves have arrived!
They are printed on silk satin, 20″ x 72″. A new printing method has been used which prints the image on both sides of the silk so there is no “wrong” side. Hand rolled hems, as always, giving the scarves a total feel and look of pure luxury. Orders can be placed on my web site (click here).
Recently I’ve started work on an illustration of brown pelicans. Obviously it will be filled, mostly, with fish. I’ve found they will eat a crab or frogs, when given the opportunity. If anyone has interesting observations about brown pelicans, let me know and I’ll try to include them in the painting. You can find peppermint candy and bananas in these horses, which was suggested by horse lovers who read my blogs.
The summer will be busy as usual. I always have “open” studio, just call (208-622-9122) to make sure I’m not playing tennis or hiking with my dog, Cricket. You are welcome to bring house guests, friends and kids are always welcome.
August 4th, 5th & 6th is the 7th Artisan’s Invitational Art Fair on 4th Street in Ketchum. A selection of artist’s, over 1/2 of whom are new and from different parts of the USA. I’ll be there too!
Hope you are all enjoying a well deserved spring. It has been a loooong winter here in Sun Valley with 333″ of snow! Lisa
